Night in Chinatown Parade February 10, 2018 @ 3:30 pm

Waiokeola Church Ohana (Church, Preschool, MTO, Awana) and the Waiokeola Twirlers are coordially invited to participate as a marching unit in the "Night in Chinatown Parade".  All parade participates will assemble at the Hawaii State Capitol between 2:30 to 3:15 pm.  Parade begins at 3:30 pm on Hotel Street and ends at River Street.

To celebrate this, Waiokeola Church is designating "Made in Hope" as our project. If you would like to help, in lieu of lei etc, please make a check payable to Waiokeola, with a note, "Made in Hope"

Hawaiian Humane Socieity Outing for Church School Children February 11, 2018

10:30 - 11:15 am We will eat lunch provided by Waiokeola at church and then depart for the Hawaiian Humane Society. 

11:15 am Depart for HHS. Wear sunscreen and bring a hat if you have one. Wear comfortable shoes. Be dressed to be with dogs and cats. Friends are always welcome. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Youth will be available to help. Please RSVP to Tina by February 9th.

Chinese New Year Celebration - February 11, 2018

Waiokeola would like to invite you to celebrate with them at Aloha Hour on February 11th. Those of Chinese or Chinese-at-heart are welcome to contribute toward the purchase of special foods for our celebration.  Marilyn and Ernest Nakamura have graciously volunteered to order and pick up the food. Please see Joy, Beverly, or Marilyn with your donations to help defray the cost of the food. We will have a table for Narcissus flowers in bloom.
